YVE
Yves-Gérald Délice (Yve) is a composer, producer, bassist, and music director based in New York. During his time at Berklee College of Music as a full-scholarship student, Yve majored in Contemporary Writing and Production with a minor in Writing for Television and New Media. There, he worked with several ensembles, bands, and artists while discovering the world of scoring to picture. Yve is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Music Composition and Theory at The Graduate School of Arts and Science at New York University as both a MacCracken Fellow and a Dean's Doctoral Fellow. His research is centered on intersections between music and affective healing and he's currently exploring the relationships we have with music through the lenses of aesthetics, phenomenology, and affect theory. As an artist, his mission is simply (or sometimes not-so-simply) to make music with feeling.
